On the other hand, this work has its own story behind it. If one looks closer they may notice that the worm appears to look more clever than the head. The worm that was passing by got curious what will happen if it throws an apple into the walking head below it: “What if…?” Here the worm is a symbol of something above, the apple is a symbol of a seed of knowledge or wisdom, while the head is a symbol of the potential. All what is needed for the potential to be fulfilled is some “What if…?” curiosity, a seed of knowledge or wisdom and a little push like an apple drop. With all that being said, every viewer sees something of their own in this piece, so my vision of the story behind it is only one of many.
